Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support a multi-year initiative with the Department of Health and Human Services, the remote Senior Cloud Engineer will design, implement, administer, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions across AWS and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and support cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments
• Manage cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and backup/recovery capabilities
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tooling to enhance infrastructure efficiency and reliability

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or infrastructure experience
• Strong experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deployment and operational support
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
