Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support a transformative technology-driven organization, the remote Senior Lead Cloud Engineer will provide expert technical direction for complex systems, develop cloud cost management solutions, and mentor team members while ensuring the implementation of effective technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for cloud cost visibility
• Establish tagging standards and automate cost management tasks
• Mentor team members and define best practices for cost optimization

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience with 2+ years as a FinOps engineer
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and pricing models
• Deep knowledge of cloud native cost management tools, including Flexera One
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation
