Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To drive innovation and automation within the Corporate Technology Services Team, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will manage cloud strategy, infrastructure, security, and architecture while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain systems, provide end user support, and contribute to process improvement and team documentation
• Plan and execute technical design and architecture for new platforms and products
• Own system design, security, scalability, and performance of cloud projects while implementing tools for efficiency and automation

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Azure (IaaS, PaaS, & SaaS) and 5+ years overall IT experience
• Microsoft Azure Administrator and/or AWS certification preferred
• Multi-cloud experience preferred
• Sound understanding of SQL, web, networking, and security best practices
• Ability to script using PowerShell and develop complex Azure Resource Manager Templates
