Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance cloud operations, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will manage and optimize cloud, virtualization, and storage infrastructure while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior team members in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support, manage, and optimize cloud and virtualization infrastructure to ensure high performance and security
- Serve as a senior technical authority, providing advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution for complex issues
- Lead and mentor operational teams, promoting technical excellence and managing complex infrastructure projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience with VMware-based infrastructure and expert-level proficiency in virtualization technologies
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure administration and technical leadership roles
- Strong experience with enterprise storage platforms and disaster recovery solutions
- 3+ years of experience in automation and operational efficiencies through scripting languages
