Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS, the remote Senior Cloud Engineer will design, build, and maintain architectures focused on serverless and IoT systems while mentoring junior engineers throughout project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and support cloud-native AWS solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Contribute to AWS IoT Core-based architectures, integrating device data with backend services
- Implement and maintain event-driven architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and Kinesis
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or backend development roles, specifically with AWS
- Strong experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and event-driven systems
- Proficiency in TypeScript; knowledge of Python and Golang is a plus
- Experience with AWS IoT Core and related message-driven architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
