Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support and enhance secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments, the remote Senior Cloud Engineer will manage cloud operations, governance, automation, security, monitoring, and CI/CD processes while ensuring compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and administer enterprise cloud environments and services
- Implement cloud governance, security controls, and cost-management practices
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning and design CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of recent experience in Cloud IT Operations or Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Advanced experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Python and/or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, security, and governance
