Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing and securing a hosting platform for global SaaS products while developing tools to enhance operational efficiency and cloud-native architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Define and promote cloud-native architectural patterns, leading design reviews and complex problem resolution
- Design and maintain a secure, scalable infrastructure platform, ensuring service level objectives are met for high availability and resilience
- Implement security and compliance frameworks, driving automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives to enhance delivery speed and reliability
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering, with 3+ years of production experience running Kubernetes
- Deep experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go) and strong shell scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)
