Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance reliability across AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and OCI environments, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will build automation, improve observability, and strengthen incident response while working remotely as part of a globally distributed SRE organization.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling to reduce operational toil
- Participate in the incident-management lifecycle, ensuring customer-centered and data-driven practices
- Collaborate with service owners on production readiness, capacity planning, and resilience testing
Required qualifications
- Experience in a production-facing SRE role within a complex SaaS environment
- Strong technical knowledge of distributed systems, multi-cloud environments, and Kubernetes
- Proficient in establishing SRE principles, including SLOs and incident response
- Experience leading high-pressure incident management and communicating with stakeholders
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows for incident management and reliability engineering
