Job Summary
To design and maintain serverless workloads on AWS, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance will implement technical solutions, provide architectural guidance, and contribute to system design in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement serverless workloads on AWS using various services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
- Author and maintain CloudFormation templates and build CI/CD pipelines for deployment across environments
- Provide architecture guidance for distributed event-driven systems and mentor junior engineers on best practices
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional cloud or software engineering experience, with 2+ years in AWS serverless workloads
- Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with pytest and async patterns
- Hands-on experience with CloudFormation and designing CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns and AWS services
- Must hold an active security clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification
