Senior Cloud Governance Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of cloud governance strategy, the full-time Senior Cloud Governance Engineer will design and implement scalable guardrails and identity solutions in AWS, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect automated governance frameworks to secure a complex multi-account environment
• Drive cross-team compliance and consensus on cloud standards, integrating security into the deployment lifecycle
• Define and track key engineering metrics related to cloud spend, security posture, and resource utilization

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud platform management experience, preferably in AWS
• Experience with governance tools such as Control Tower, Service Catalog, and IAM
• 3+ years of experience in managing a multi-account or multi-project cloud environment
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages
