Senior Cloud Hardware Engineer

Job Summary

To support the design and implementation of advanced network infrastructure, the full-time Senior Cloud Hardware Engineer will manage vendor relationships, automate fiber testing processes, and design structured cabling systems for hyperscale data centers, working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vendors and manufacturers to assess and implement fiber optic infrastructure designs
• Automate fiber test plans and develop standards for structured cabling systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to align physical design with network architecture and ensure compliance with operational requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in fiber plant and network design or 10+ years in structured cabling design for large-scale data centers
• 5+ years of experience with fiber plant design and IEEE standards
• 2+ years of experience working with optical protocols and technologies
• Expertise in industry standards such as ANSI/TIA and BICSI
