Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to support NIH in architecting and securing AWS networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer AWS network security, configuration management, and maintenance of cloud-based network architecture
• Implement network configuration changes and develop designs following cloud security best practices
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for network issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Advanced Networking Certification
• 10+ years of experience managing and designing AWS-based networks for large systems
• Expertise in AWS services and network architecture, including VPCs and security
• Strong skills in Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting languages
