Senior Cloud Networking Engineer
Job Summary
Architecting and leading the evolution of a global cloud networking platform, the full-time Senior Cloud Networking Engineer will drive the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure network services while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on technical design for next-gen cloud networking, including VPC, security groups, gateways, and routing domains
- Drive implementation of control/data plane features and manage services like BGP peering and tenant isolation
- Prototype and validate new capabilities at scale while supporting production systems and incident response
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in infrastructure, network engineering, or hosting environments
- Experience with virtual networking (public/private cloud), SDN, and VXLAN/EVPN
- Strong knowledge of BGP, L2/L3 routing, Linux, and Kubernetes networking
- Proficiency in Go or Rust, with familiarity in PHP and SQL being a plus
- Network automation and observability experience
