Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Cloud Platform Engineer will design, develop, and deliver automated cloud-based solutions while collaborating with an Agile development team to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the design and implementation of automated solutions for account management and platform governance within AWS
• Collaborate with product management to analyze complex software requirements and decompose them into user stories for execution
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality delivery throughout the development, testing, and deployment phases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS
• 4+ years of experience in Python and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• 3+ years of experience in design and architecture, including design patterns and security
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and AI-assisted development tools
