Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the security of cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will provide technical guidance on architecture and configuration management, leverage automation tools for standardized security, and communicate vulnerabilities while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on cloud security architecture and configuration management
• Leverage automation tools and infrastructure-as-code solutions to enhance security across environments
• Identify cloud platform vulnerabilities and communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Relevant experience in managing cloud security programs and Identity Access Management (IAM)
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud infrastructure components, preferably with GCP
• Experience with infrastructure vulnerability testing tools and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Ability to audit security controls within the cloud environment
• Strong bias for action in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
