Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing and implementing security controls across multi-cloud environments, automating security processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security best practices for services across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI environments
• Act as the subject matter expert for security automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Conduct threat modeling and security reviews for new applications, and participate in incident response and on-call duties

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Cloud Security Engineering within a multi-cloud environment
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for security automation using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Practical experience securing major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI
• Proven expertise in system hardening using CIS Level 2 and DISA STIGs
• Hands-on experience with security platforms like Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and WAF solutions
