Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the intersection of platform reliability, cloud infrastructure, and security, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will embed security practices into the engineering lifecycle, manage AWS infrastructure, and ensure compliance with CJIS and SOC 2 requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure across standard and GovCloud environments
• Own infrastructure-as-code with a security-first mindset and manage IAM strategy and cloud security posture
• Implement and maintain application observability, monitoring, and automated deployment pipelines

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience, including EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, and S3
• Production Kubernetes experience, including cluster operations and workload security
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tooling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
