Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading technical initiatives, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will manage KPA's cloud infrastructure and security platforms, oversee complex projects, and drive automation efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own enterprise security platforms and lead vulnerability management, incident response, and security hardening initiatives
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure infrastructure, and Cisco networking while partnering with DevOps for modernization efforts
• Lead complex security and cloud projects, producing documentation and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or security engineering
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and enterprise security platforms like CrowdStrike and Rapid7
• Understanding of identity, networking, endpoint management, and Zero Trust security principles
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-500, or CISSP are preferred
