Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Cloud Security Engineer will implement and maintain security controls, ensure compliance with security policies and standards, and perform cybersecurity monitoring of cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain security cloud solutions in collaboration with the Cloud team
• Monitor and support security software to ensure compliance with HITRUST and CSA Cloud Controls Matrix
• Create and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures while identifying areas for enhancement in security practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required; High School Diploma required if using equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in enterprise cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and IT cloud security
• Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM) and cloud workload protection (CWP) tools
• In-depth understanding of Azure Policy and/or AWS Service Control Policies
• Working experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform or Azure Bicep
