Job Summary

To safeguard sensitive data within cloud environments, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security measures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks, all in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain comprehensive security controls for cloud infrastructure and applications
• Lead security hardening efforts, including IAM, network segmentation, and container security
• Monitor cloud security incidents and conduct root cause analysis to enhance security posture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or application security
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM preferred
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools like Python or Terraform
