Senior Cloud Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a cloud-native platform, the remote Senior Cloud Software Engineer will architect and build scalable distributed infrastructure while optimizing cost efficiency and collaborating with engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and build a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure
- Execute high-impact infrastructure optimization initiatives across compute, storage, and networking
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for the SaaS platform
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience in scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
- Proficiency in Go, C/C++, Java, or another OOP language
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native edge or service mesh services
- Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and cloud security best practices
