Senior Cloud Storage Manager

Job Summary

Leading the engineering and operations team, the full-time Senior Manager, Cloud Storage Engineering will oversee the design, deployment, and operation of Vultr's cloud storage portfolio, ensuring high availability and performance across global regions in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of storage engineers and operators across multiple regions
• Own the technical delivery for block, object, and file storage products across all performance tiers
• Drive architecture decisions for multi-tenant, multi-tier storage platforms serving diverse workload profiles

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in storage engineering, with 3+ years in engineering management
• Deep expertise with Ceph and distributed storage architectures in production environments
• Experience building and operating multi-tenant cloud storage services at scale
• Strong understanding of block, object, and file storage protocols and performance characteristics
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
