Senior Cloud System Administrator

Job Summary

To support a growing cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Cloud System Administrator will build, maintain, and optimize scalable Linux environments while ensuring system reliability and operational efficiency in a remote-first setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and maintain scalable, automated, and well-documented systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and system performance

Required qualifications

• DEC or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator in cloud or infrastructure environments
• Strong experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing core services such as HTTPd, MySQL, and DNS
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Shell, Python, Ruby, or Java)
