Senior Cloud Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting and monitoring enterprise cloud-hosted systems, the full-time Senior Enterprise Cloud Systems Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, ensure system security and reliability, and enhance automated solutions on Windows and Red Hat Linux Operating Systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor system performance and capacity, utilizing enterprise tools for proactive issue resolution
- Design and manage automated deployment pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases
- Maintain and develop system documentation for automation workflows, recovery procedures, and operational best practices
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of systems engineering experience in a Linux or Windows enterprise environment, preferably within DOD
- Extensive experience with cloud development and deployments, including CI/CD pipeline setup and cloud-native services
- Hands-on experience with system hardening and DISA implementation
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take initiative
- Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch is preferred
