Senior COBOL Developer
Job Summary
To support marketing efforts in decommissioning the Mainframe, the remote contract Senior COBOL Developer will leverage cloud and COBOL skills while documenting current marketing functionality and modernizing customer data verification processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support COBOL programming for marketing initiatives related to Mainframe decommissioning
- Create a knowledge base using AI MCP to document marketing Mainframe functionality
- Provide ongoing support for modernizing email and physical address verification processes
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in web application development
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce application development
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS and ReactJS applications
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- Understanding of OWASP principles and best practices
