Senior COBOL Programmer Analyst

Job Summary

Providing production support for the web front end of the ETS application, the full-time remote Senior COBOL Programmer Analyst will lead the design, programming, testing, and implementation of complex computing applications while ensuring system functionality and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into developer specifications and lead the design and documentation of applications
• Write and compile complex COBOL code and modify existing applications to enhance functionality
• Identify and resolve complex programming issues while recommending system improvements

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, system analysis, and design
• 5+ years of experience with COBOL and IBM mainframe systems, including Job Control Language (JCL)
• 5+ years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and object-oriented programming
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, or Teradata
• 5+ years of experience with web technologies including HTML, Java, XML, and ASP.NET
