Senior Coding Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coding Manager to oversee coding functions for facility and professional services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of coders for facility and professional services
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with federal/state regulations and payer guidelines
• Oversee coding audits, quality assurance processes, and ongoing staff education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or related field required
• RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, or CCS certification; advanced credentials are preferred
• 5+ years of progressive coding experience required
• 2+ years in a leadership role preferred
• Strong knowledge of outpatient facility and professional surgical coding guidelines
