Senior Coding Quality Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coding Quality Educator who will work remotely in most states.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Coding Integrity and Knowledge Management team
• Collaborate with various departments on coding matters and provide coding support to regional teams
• Develop and deliver coding guidance based on healthcare coding regulations and maintain relevant documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
• National Certification from American Health Information Management Association upon hire
• 6+ years of experience in professional fee inpatient, surgical, outpatient coding, E/M, auditing, and related work
• 5+ years of experience providing provider education and feedback to improve documentation and coding
• Strong experience in Excel and other database applications in a Windows environment
