Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coding and Documentation Specialist to ensure accurate clinical documentation and coding in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records for accuracy and compliance with documentation standards
• Oversee the development and implementation of coding standards and conduct regular audits
• Design and deliver training programs for clinicians on documentation practices and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent certification
• 5+ years of experience in medical coding and documentation, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and EHR documentation workflows
• Experience in diverse healthcare delivery and reimbursement settings
• Proficiency in EHR systems and Business Intelligence tools
