Senior ColdFusion Developer

Job Summary

To support the modernization and migration of enterprise ColdFusion applications, two full-time Senior ColdFusion Developers will lead upgrade activities from ColdFusion 2016 to 2023, assess legacy codebases, and collaborate on database and server migration efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute ColdFusion migration activities, including upgrade assessments and compatibility remediation
• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
• Produce documentation aligned with IRS engineering governance and serve as a mentor to junior developers

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with significant expertise in ColdFusion/CFML
• Hands-on migration experience with ColdFusion 2016 through 2023, including configuration changes and compatibility issue remediation
• Demonstrated experience supporting MS SQL Server in enterprise environments
• Experience coordinating Windows Server migration or major version upgrades for hosted applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
