Senior Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Collections Specialist with expertise in healthcare billing and insurance collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve healthcare accounts receivable related to physician services
• Perform insurance collections and follow-up on outstanding claims
• Review HCFA/CMS-1500 claim forms and investigate denied or underpaid claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of experience in physician healthcare insurance billing and collections
• Proven experience with healthcare accounts receivable collections
• Some form of leadership or team lead experience required
• Experience with physician claims (CMS-1500 / 1500 claim form)
