Senior Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Collections Specialist in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve healthcare accounts receivable related to physician services
• Perform insurance collections and follow-up on outstanding claims
• Investigate and resolve denied, underpaid, or delayed claims while ensuring compliance with payer guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of physician healthcare insurance billing and collections experience, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience with healthcare accounts receivable collections and insurance follow-up
• Some form of leadership or team lead experience required
• Ability to follow payer and governmental requirements in accordance with organizational policies
