Senior Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Managing complex and high-risk accounts, the full-time Senior Collections Specialist will provide guidance to junior staff, resolve systemic issues, and ensure timely collections while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-volume, high-risk accounts requiring advanced collection expertise and timely resolution
• Research and resolve complex billing, payment, and account discrepancies through in-depth analysis
• Serve as a subject matter resource for team members, providing guidance on complex account situations and best practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated experience handling complex accounts
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including intermediate Excel skills
