Senior Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Managing complex and high-risk accounts, the full-time Senior Collections Specialist will provide guidance to junior staff, resolve systemic issues, and ensure timely collections while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of high-volume accounts requiring advanced collection expertise and ensure timely resolution
• Analyze and resolve complex billing and payment discrepancies through in-depth research and investigation
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the Collections team, offering guidance on challenging accounts and best practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated experience handling complex accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with AR systems
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities
