Senior Collector

Job Summary

Responsible for administering collections activities for consumer, real estate, and commercial loans, the full-time Senior Collector will maintain delinquencies, coach junior collectors, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain delinquencies in line with peer performance and the bank's risk profile
• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve credit performance issues
• Document collection activities and assist in assessing the bank's asset quality

Required qualifications

• High school education with 5-7 years of related collections experience
• Proficient knowledge of federal and state laws regarding nonperforming asset collections
• Understanding of regulatory processes related to collateral repossession and bankruptcy proceedings
