Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support business teams in structuring transactions and drafting and negotiating agreements with customers, vendors, and partners
• Manage the contracting process for global sales teams to drive deals to closure
• Proactively manage vendor relationships and software renewals to maximize efficiencies while managing risks

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from well-regarded institutions with active membership in a U.S. state bar
• 7+ years of combined legal experience in a software company and/or law firm counseling rapid-growth technology companies
• Strong understanding of global data privacy laws and experience negotiating DPAs
• Experience negotiating complex enterprise B2B SaaS agreements
• Ability to create and scale processes to streamline commercial legal functions
