Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Commercial Transactions Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including drafting, negotiation, and execution
• Oversee and mentor contract management staff while optimizing contract workflows and processes
• Act as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders, translating legal risk into actionable business guidance

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 8+ years of commercial transactions experience, preferably in-house at a technology or SaaS company
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements independently
• Experience creating negotiation playbooks and working with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management platforms and knowledge of intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity concepts
