Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel, Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements focused on public sector transactions
• Provide strategic legal guidance throughout the procurement and contracting lifecycle for public sector technology transactions
• Advise internal stakeholders on compliance with government contracting laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 7+ years of experience in commercial transactions and/or government contracts
• Significant experience with technology and public sector commercial agreements
• Strong familiarity with U.S. government procurement laws, including FAR and DFARS
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead negotiations and manage complex transactions
