Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting TRM Labs's commercial contracting strategy, the full-time Senior Commercial Counsel will manage the negotiation and drafting of key commercial and vendor contracts while enhancing legal operations through AI tools and streamlined workflows in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the global Go-To-Market team with various commercial agreements, including customer agreements and statements of work
• Review, draft, and negotiate vendor agreements, optimizing the vendor procurement process
• Lead projects to enhance the Legal team's use of AI tools and improve internal review processes for greater efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience at a top law firm or high-growth technology company
• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with current bar admission in at least one U.S. state
• Experience negotiating technical vendor and SaaS agreements, with exposure to public sector procurement preferred
• Proven ability to support a dynamic sales function and collaborate across teams
• Demonstrated executive presence for effective negotiation with clients and vendors
