Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Senior Commercial Counsel will draft, review, negotiate, and close complex IT contracts while providing legal advice to various stakeholders in a remote environment, preferably from the East Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and negotiate contracts with customers and vendors, ensuring compliance with legal standards
• Provide timely legal advice to internal teams regarding products and services requiring contracts
• Analyze complex legal issues and conduct legal research to support business transactions

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in technology and professional services contracts
• Juris Doctor Degree (JD) from an accredited law school and active US bar membership
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with client-facing experience
• Experience with CLM platforms and AI-enabled legal tools
