Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the remote Senior Commercial Counsel will own complex commercial transactions, negotiate agreements efficiently, and leverage AI tools to enhance work quality and speed.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex commercial transactions, including technology agreements, SaaS contracts, and IP licenses
• Negotiate efficiently to close deals while advising on commercial risk and contract strategy
• Contribute to process improvements and new practice areas within the legal team

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing
• 8+ years of experience in commercial contracts, with a strong focus on technology transactions
• Deep familiarity with IP licensing and SaaS agreements
• Experience advising high-growth technology or emerging companies is preferred
• Proven ability to use AI tools effectively in legal practice
