Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

To support the growth of the company, the full-time Senior Commercial Counsel will manage commercial legal work, including drafting and negotiating agreements, while providing corporate and compliance support in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, serving as the primary legal contact for deals
• Support regulatory and licensing requirements, advising on compliance matters across various topics
• Assist with corporate governance and entity matters, including preparing board materials and maintaining corporate records

Required Qualifications

• A law degree (JD or equivalent) and admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction
• 5-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house or at a reputable law firm
• Strong commercial contracting experience, with the ability to independently negotiate and draft agreements
• Working knowledge of corporate matters and comfort with compliance and licensing obligations
• Familiarity with crypto and/or payments, including an understanding of regulatory contexts
