Senior Commercial Counsel (Licensed Attorney)

Job Summary

As the primary legal point of contact for the GTM team, the full-time Senior Commercial Counsel (Licensed Attorney) will negotiate and manage commercial contracts including customer agreements, DPAs, and vendor contracts while establishing legal infrastructure and automation workflows in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including SaaS customer agreements and NDAs
• Run deals end-to-end, collaborating with finance, security, product, and engineering teams as needed
• Design and implement AI and automation workflows for contract management and maintain standard legal templates

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction
• 5+ years of commercial transactional experience, particularly with SaaS and technology agreements
• Proven ability to run commercial deals independently and achieve signatures without extensive oversight
• Strong legal operations instincts with experience in improving contracting processes
• Fluency in privacy requirements related to commercial contracting, including DPAs and data-handling terms
