Senior Commercial Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

Leading commercial transactions from intake through signature, the full-time Senior Commercial Counsel (State Licensed) will serve as the primary legal point of contact for the GTM team, partnering closely with various departments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end commercial deals, collaborating with Finance, Security, Product, and Engineering as needed
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS customer agreements and vendor contracts
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows and tools to streamline legal processes and improve contract management

Required qualifications

• JD and active bar admission in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction
• 5+ years of commercial transactional experience, particularly with SaaS and technology agreements
• Proven experience independently leading commercial transactions from negotiation to signature
• Strong legal operations instincts with a focus on using AI and automation to enhance legal processes
• Fluency with privacy requirements in commercial contracting, including DPAs and data-handling terms
