Job Summary

Supporting the EMEA sales team, the full-time Senior Commercial Counsel UK Licensed will review and negotiate customer agreements, provide legal counsel for revenue-generating activities, and lead complex cross-border transactions in a remote role based in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate customer contracts to support the go-to-market team, primarily focusing on the EMEA region
• Build strong relationships with the EMEA sales team, offering pragmatic legal counsel and acting as a business partner
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide training on legal issues and contract processes to internal stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Law degree and member in good standing in the UK; international legal experience is a plus
• Minimum 7 years of experience in both law firm and in-house settings within high-growth technology companies
• Proven experience with complex commercial software and SaaS agreements across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong understanding of commercial legal issues related to SaaS, including data privacy and intellectual property
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and strong relationships with stakeholders
