Senior Commercial Lines Actuary

Job Summary

Analyzing and translating policy rating inputs, the temporary Senior Commercial Lines Actuary will support the implementation of Guidewire policy administration system structures while collaborating across teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing Policy Administration System (PAS) rating input storage tables and structures
• Extract current PAS rating inputs for various commercial lines and collaborate to translate these into Guidewire PAS input structures
• Assist in building and maintaining processes for policy conversion and update integrations for new Guidewire data structures

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lines actuarial experience with 4-6 CAS exams passed (preferred)
• Strong SAS or SQL skills and experience with large data sets
• Knowledge of ISO commercial property, GL, and auto rating algorithms
• Familiarity with NCCI workers' compensation products and rating algorithms
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn new software rapidly
