Senior Commercial Lines Actuary

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Lines Actuary for a long-term remote opportunity, this position will analyze and translate policy rating inputs, support the implementation of Guidewire Policy administration system structures, and collaborate across teams to facilitate seamless system integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing Policy Administration System (PAS) rating input storage tables and structures
• Extract current PAS rating inputs for various commercial lines and assist in building a production process for policy conversion
• Collaborate with team members to translate extracted rating inputs into Guidewire PAS input structures and support predictive model data integrations

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lines actuarial experience with 4-6 CAS exams passed (preferred)
• Strong SAS or SQL skills and experience with large data sets
• Knowledge of ISO commercial property, GL, and auto rating algorithms
• Familiarity with NCCI workers' compensation products and rating algorithms
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn new software rapidly
