Senior Commercial Resolution Officer

Job Summary

Managing a complex loan portfolio, the full-time Senior Commercial Resolution Officer will work in a hybrid environment to resolve problem credits in commercial, industrial, and large commercial real estate projects while evaluating credit risk and executing resolution strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of complex commercial relationships, developing resolution strategies and approving modifications as needed
• Oversee credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal risks associated with client transactions and financial exposures
• Utilize expert knowledge of bankruptcy laws to design and implement complex loan restructures and serve as a resource for loan portfolio management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Commercial Resolution, Special Assets, Distressed Loans, and/or Workout, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience with SBA 504 loans
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of experience managing a portfolio of Substandard grade credits
• Preferred: At least 4 years of experience managing a portfolio size of $75+MM, ideally in a bank with $100B in assets
