Senior Commissioning Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of commissioning professionals, the full-time Senior Commissioning Manager will independently oversee the commissioning process for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and similar systems in complex renovation and new construction projects, including life science, healthcare, and data center facilities, while managing client relationships and project finances remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the commissioning team and all project stakeholders for complex systems
- Develop client relationships and create proposals to generate new business
- Manage project execution and finances to ensure profitability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant building science, with 15 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; commissioning certifications such as CxA, CCP, or BCxP preferred
- Knowledge of MEP systems installation and operation required
- Experience in life science, healthcare, and data center facilities strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and knowledge of financial principles related to project management
