Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. External Communications Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with targeted media outlets to support strategic storytelling efforts
• Manage the global corporate communications editorial calendar and develop various media-facing materials
• Monitor media coverage and track relevant mentions and trends, while collaborating across the Corporate Marketing and Communications team

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of communications experience, preferably in technology or financial services
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Outstanding media relations capabilities
• Experience in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization
• Proven ability to communicate technical content to non-technical audiences
